Completing a worm egg count (dung sample) in combination with a tapeworm test (saliva swab) is an ideal place to start when there is no worming history or where there has been a gap in treatment. This combination covers the common gut parasites we need to monitor on an ongoing basis. Results are combined to create an appropriate treatment plan based on both tests where treatment is required.
